What a dreamlike of me! I met the authority of frame drums Mr. Glen Velez and took his lesson. How lucky I am! As far as I know, Mr.Velez learned Middle Eastern style drumming or South Indian style drumming, and also learned several country's traditional way of drumming. But he didn't choose the way to be a traditional style player. That is why I respect him. To make new art and to be the artist, he showed us the potentiality of Frame Drums. And his performances are really moved my heart. I am looking to meet him this year and want to hear his wonderful performance again! |
